Barrett's South Coast Spottage

Where the lost, lonely and mentally ill can now be found chatting about MISERABLE motor vehicles. No O/T posts.

I'm going to have to root through the thread looking for that two-tone Prefect now. Being as my first car was the same two-tones on a Prefect, I have an unnecessary interest in them. I'm loving how crispy that Herald looks - I'd crash that into something just to find out how badly it flies apart.

Not sure if the Prefect is featured here or just the old site (RIP) so here it is again. It's changed hands now as far as I can tell, it's in a different town anyway. Still looks just as rough though.

Hey, seems like I've not updated this for ages. Have some more automotive dross

Non-blue 323, always nice to see. Parked outside work.

Unimaginably grim Escort estate. Chances of this smelling like wet dog are HIGH

Heartwarming stuff here. This was crunched quite badly in an accident a couple of years ago and has been sat looking forlorn and forgotten on a drive, but it's recently been repaired and given a snazzy new paint job. French reg on UK-style plates looks bizarre though

Crikey, that Escort looks a right state. Old man owner, ex handiman, rollie smoker with nicotine-yellow hair, last car before he expires and he's keeping it barely on the right side of legal?

A few more from the last few weeks

Forren reg'd late Polski-Fiat 126. FORESHADOWING

Previously spotted, now sporting different wheels and a vaguely appropriate but mildy irritating reg

I thought this had the look of a car that'd just been pulled out of storage, and sure enough it's been off the road since 2001. Quite rusty in places, but hopefully these are worth enough money now to justify getting it back on the road

Nice local pair, the Minx just appeared today and despite how it looks it's T&T'd. Possibly due to the fact that it's MOT exempt

Excellent. Shame about the modern car in the 127/Talbot photo. I hope your driver on the French trip was not too perturbed by your desire to photograph rubbish old cars as you trundled by.
