Old Magazine Scans

Postby Seth » Thu Mar 14, 2013 10:48 pm

The imaginative title of this topic is a pretty clear indication of what I intend putting here. Oddball stuff I come across in old magazines that I get around to scanning.

For starters, here's a couple of home brew American plastic cars, both featured in the June '64 issue of Hot Rod Magazine.

VW floorpan but with turbo Corvair engine in the back.

Except this one isn't plastic but hand formed in metal according to the text, and just cunningly disguised to look like plastic.

Can we add our own? I've got scans from some 1970's and 1980's issues of Hotrod Magazine somewhere. I couldn't keep the mags when the family home was sold so I took scans of the best bits instead.

All suitable content welcome I'd have thought. Doesn't have to be just HRMs

Excellent!
I remember having a copy of that issue as a lad, sticks in the mind as I was ignorant of the existence if Reims until that point. Still haven't been though....
