Hirst's Madcap Adventure (Thornes Park 2013)

I went to Thornes Park on the way home today in order to see some quality vehicles and burger vans. Here is some of the stuff I done saw.
Porsche 944 by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
This was a group of vehicles which looked to be some sort of classic car sales type thing, they'd brought a small gazebo with them in order to look like they had some kind of established premises I think.
Daimler Sovereign by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
This Daimler Sov was very nice, sadly one of the spectators on the left burst into flames and the car was destroyed forever. Anyway, I-
Dodge Spacevan by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
JESUS CHRIST!
BMW 318is by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
This had a Union Flag painted on the bonnet last year, now it doesn't. Suppose he got sick of the EDL having marches around it.
BMW 316 by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
I prefer E21s anyway, but I'd take some pleasure in wheelspinning over the seat covers in this case, still superb though.
Volkswagen Golf LD by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
Golf LD! Will it escape the scene? Is it fast enough to escape the scene?
Subaru 284 4WD 1800 Pickup by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
I'm sure I've seen this before but these are nearly all red and I have dreadful memory from destroying my brain with drink probably.
Ford Galaxie 500 by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
YEAH! Pretend New Joisey plates too, an ideal inconspicuous vehicle for "whacking" somebody.
Buick Eight by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
Dental Plan! LISA NEEDS BRACES
Ford Escort XR3 by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
"Look kids, I used to have one of them!" "What daddy, an Escort?" "No... a tyre..." (bursts into tears)
Wolseley Six by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
A luxury car with all that door interchangeability you've come to expect.
Ford Fairlane 500 by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
This was very smart, probably one of the easiest cars ever to turn into a convertible.
Vauxhall Omega Police Car by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
Boo! Hiss! It's a bit like seeing a deactivated electric chair, you know it can't really do anything, but that doesn't stop it giving you a real chill.
Vauxhall Omega Police Car Strobe Settings by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
Next row down had "BE USELESS", "EAT A PIE", "STARE ANGRILY FOR NO REASON", "CLAIM OVERTIME".
Vauxhall Nova Merit by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
Meanwhile, this vehicle had a lot of Merit. Love those little half hubcaps.
Bedford HA: BT Duo by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
One of my favourite vehicles of last year evidently has been breeding, which is absolutely fine by me. Another dozen and I'll forgive them for making the BT Infinity advert with the nerdy guy getting a far too good-looking girlfriend from the Internet, it's just too unbelievable.
Mercedes-Benz 220 by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
This Merc was relaxing under some trees, not really part of the show. Some cars are cool enough to do that.
Citroen CX by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
Like this CX, which pays absolutely no heed to "stance" and things like that.
Ford Transit by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
Meanwhile, back in the show proper, this exceptionally clean Transit with sliding door would have been just the job to do over Barclays Bank.
Ford Transit by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
BUMP FOR A REAL THREAD, WOULD ANYONE LIKE SOME WINE?
Austin Maestro 1.3 L by Dan Hirst?, on Flickr
And this pretty damn immaculate Maestro 1.3 L provides all the executive refinement we need to take us into part two, which is coming later.
Alright? Alright. Bye then. Yeah. Bye. Yep. Yep. OK. See ya. Yep. OK. Right. Bye then. Bye. Buh-bye. LOOK JUST GO.
