Brooklands Jumble

Postby Seth » Mon Jul 29, 2013 9:48 am

The prospect of some hot, pre-war Minks action (coming to a quality magazine near you at some point in the future, maybe) dragged myself and the family down to Brooklands for their retrojumble yesterday. Turning up in an old car meant getting slightly discounted entry and the opportunity to park amongst the aeroplanes. There was a young chap at the gate who was slightly confused by what my car was and why there was a Borgward sticker in the window - turns out his girlfriend's dad is the chairman of the Borgward club. Small world etc.

Here's some of the things we saw.

Not Zetec/Pinto/Lotuswheels/YKT

This was fab. I love the colour too (whatever it is).

Saloon/Sports etc.

This was QUITE LITERALLY too big.

Suave.

Insert your own (M)organ joke here.

I thought this blended seamlessly into the historic surroundings.

Dumpy.

London reg Hunter was very tidy and made me feel inadequate with its rather plush interior.

Best car for sale was this. Taxed and ready to go.

There's a few other shots here.
