I swapped the cap onto the doomrover today, and the problem hasn't moved with it. TF is now off the road while I investigate (not showing as taxed any more, and I'm not buying it if I can't use the car!)

More when I get time. There are other shoe shaped roadsters to fix first.

Well stone me, I did actually fix this and use it. In fact, I just got a tax reminder so in a week or so it will have been on the road for a year.

It's currently my favorite car. MG deffo best* for when your missus decides she doesn't like you any more.
