Time for an update!

A blurry Alfa.

Image

A Welsh Stag.

Image

Time has stood still in that there Abergele.

Image

Plane spot.

Image

This Nova was being piloted by a young mum, child in a car seat in the back.

Image

Baker Street Alfa, though I am slightly concerned at the 'Meat Land Suppliers'

Image

Tidy KG

Image

Image

This Citroen joined the A3, straight into the right hand lane, blatted along at high speed for a mile before exciting for the M25.

Image

You can't really see it, but the overhead notices on the left are declaring 'Fog'. I really don't understand why these things are so hopeless with the information they give out in this day and age.

Image

Gullwings.

Image

This looked horribly giffer spec tatty.

Image

Caged, for pedestrian safety.

Image

Nearly got this in shot!

Image

I went hunting for a split screen VW van and found this.

Image

Even better I found this and took multiple photos!

Image

Image

Grotty to perfection!

Image

Did find the VW though.

Image

The new Park Lane sculpture.

Image

And to finish with a LHD Escort Ghia.

That J plate looks way late on a Nova, even though it isn't really cos they must have been knocking about on a K at least.

Last spot update of the year for me then.

These two Fords were both seen while watching old crocks drive by on their way into Brighton.

Image

Image

Keep all your 280/300/350/420/500/600s etc.

Image

I think the number plate n this coach was good but I can't remember why and its just a blurr. There's an oldish Volvo though.

Image

HIRST CABS LONDON

Image

I see I spotted this Rover in the same place earlier in the year. A regular horological fair attendee.

Image

If you look carefully you can see a 100 Coupe and a similar era saloon on the middle floor. Really ought to see whether you can just drop in to look at the old cars without being sold a lifestyle.

Image

Another Audi.

Image

A local seen Sierra the spitting image of one my neighbour had a few years ago.

Image

Crusty Granada seen somewhere posh.

Image

A few doors up was this nice pointy (front and back) Alfa.

Image

The Bristol man by the daughter's school got tinkering on something modern and plastic.

Image

Spacious living quarters.

Image

Image

See these occasionally since there's a specialist not far away. Might just be the same one we see all the time.

Image

CPT rod.

Image

Tranny.

Image

A week after seeing this driving the other way locally it was then parked one street away!

Image

Sorry, multiple photos.

Image

But I considered it worth it.

Image

Final non-show related spot of the year.

Image

As these remainders where all at or near Whitewebbs in Enfield today for the small autojumble.

Image

Image

Oh go on, here's the back as well.

Image

Image

Image

That's yer lot.

First update from 2013! Relax. Its not that stupendous.

A Lord's Bentley.

Image

Mrs_Seth sent me this photo she'd taken a few weeks ago....further investigation was required.

Image

She also spotted this R4.

Image

I saw this aircraft carrier twice on the same day, once on my way to MOT the Hillman and once on the way home.

Image

Parisian R4.

Image

Back to that Minor Spot. Yeah, there's three of them, the rear one still sporting lowlight wings.

Image

on 'Wasteland' by the North Circ.

Image

The remainder come from the Ace Classic night last week, when I was ill, didn't take my camera and only stayed half an hour so took so dodgy phone pics instead.

Image

Image

DS was nicely tatty, the sort there used to be quite a lot of in daily use in London.

Image

Image

Cool early 99.

Funnily enough I meant to ask you about those Minors... I saw them the other day [sorry no pics], that same day I saw the £8,000 Peugeot 505 [also; sorry, no pics] and couldn't remember them being there before.

Wow, what an absolutely poor effort. Not only are some of them not spotted by you, but some of them are not even spots! Has the world gone mad, kids these days, bloody foreigners etc.

What's going on with the Minors then? I can't quite work out what they are standing on. Is it a jippo encampment or am I jumping to conclusions because I can see what looks like a caravan and all the usual detritus?

I don't really know what's going on with the Minors. Chap in the butchers round the corner mentioned them to me a few weeks ago and then Mrs_Seth saw them too. They're on a car transporter of sorts and there's something else, possibly just an FX4 cab on the bottom. That plot had some dilapidated houses on it until a couple of years ago when there was a mysterious* fire and it was cleared. Ideal spot for some luxury flats sandwiched as it is by the Nortt Circular, the tube and the A41.

Here's a reasonably quality update.

Grim. Definition.

Image

Yes, this Mini has bigger wheels on the front than the back.

Image

Image

Image

Overtaken at speed by vintage Bentley on teh way home from Goodwood last Sunday.

Image

Dead chuffed to come across this in town this morning, on the road where the Mk1 Mini that sadly disappeared a couple of years ago used to be.

Image

I took three photos and so your getting them all as it is worthy.

Image

Image

These last two were from the Swap Meet car park today.

Image

Number plate and massive sign implied this belongs to Datman.

I was at the Swapmeet as well, went in my A35. It was at least 50% yank, which doesn't interest me sadly, but there were still some interesting bits to be found. There was a nice FB Victor estate and a PB Cresta in the carpark as well (as well as a huge amount of 50's Yank pickups).

Datsun is great. I saw that Bentley (or a very similar one) in Hove recently, but didn't get a picture.
