That's a nice collection of spots there, though I still can't work out exactly what that is, bent over the large tube; looks sort of Escort Mk1-ish at front, ADO16-alike at the rear. Also, can't quite make out whether that Golf is the sought after 'swallowtail'. I'd better not show that image to my brother, who regrets giving away his Mk1 Scirocco a few years back.

Looking forward to more.

MOAR!

The Isuzu Elf is fab, as are the last two Toyodas. I really need to move somewhere warm enough for old Japanese iron to not disintegrate instantly on contact with water.

Jon, I think the broken white thing is indeed an ADO16 and the Golf is a non-ST but a very early one anyway.
Hoow do I go to my thread ? How do I find my forum ? Howdo I go to the page I am typing?

What a lot of horribly bent and twisted unusual machinery. I echo Barrett's comments. Moar!

I was amazed at the amount of rammel on the roads of southern Cyprus that was literally hanging together by the strength of nothing more than Branflakes. In fact, it's surprising some of this isn't still on the road, because some of it looks better than was parked around Paphos! I'll have to dig out my pics from a few years ago and we can have an inter-thread Greece v. Turkey war.

Or maybe I'll just invade this thread like the Turks did, for complete historical authenticity.

I didn't see much of interest in Paphos, but I mainly did 'touristy' stuff there. Weird modern Japanese grey importes and old L200s and the like seem to be the most popular forms of transport all over the island. Feel free to add your pics or start another thread Jonny.

The new version of Photobucket is almost impossible to use, unfortunately I'm forced to use it to avoid Yugo Lada and all the other fuds on Flickr.

More great stuff here. The UK must be one of the worst places for old car survival despite having one of the biggest cla**ic scenes, seeing all the old J-tin lying about here is pretty mind blowing.

I am incredibly disappointed you didn't think to wrench off those lovely clean sidelight units from that red Hezza though. SHAME ON YOU

Don't even begin to mention the fuds on Flickr, I had some mentalist add me on Facebook because he wants me to share my pictures with him, he can get fucked.

Anyway, this is a brilliant thread! All that old metal around looks perfectly suited to the surroundings, like it was just meant to be there. I suppose the dry climate really does help them live a lot longer, shame I hate hot weather as I would be all up for exploring somewhere like this!

I hate hot weather too, it was still hot even in October, up to 35°C and humid on the coast and inland, but 10° cooler in the mountains.
It's quite pleasant in November, like a hot summer in the UK.

I have lustworthy feelings for that Caravelle.

That Herald bumper is rather odd. I might steal your photo and ask about it on the Club Triumph forum.

Edit: Hang on, is it not just the white rubber bit painted black along with the top of the valance? Have you got any other photos or even a larger version of that one?
