oh yeah, that is immense. Needs to go back on the road looking just like it does now too. I sort of wish I hadn't seen that... It's only down the road... wonder what the reserve is....?

I DEFINITELY want a LLOYD one day. Entirely cos it's my surname.

In fact I'd probably just settle for a grille badge.

I would love it myself too, on the road in that condition. It'd match the Borgward. Kinda 'his and hers'. Except the Isabella would be Ickle_Seth's and the Lloyd would be mine. Not that I'm called Lloyd. Maybe we'll have to have a son.

Not even a titter/tumbleweed at my subtle initial comment? Pah!

I only just got i! As usual your humor is so subtle that it needs to be pointed out before I even notice it's there...

This one's been knocking about online here for a while, so it's likely that about £500 would net it:

Do these have a Webber carb, I wonder?

On another note, this is up for grabs, starting at c.£1250, or a BIN of c.£1500:

It seems very straight [from the 1980's] from the pictures and in this country at least, it's not too badly priced. Even has the nod from Mrs_Jon for the basis of a (sensitive) camper fit-out. Just a shame it's on the other island and is about 900 miles away!

I wouldn't have expected 2 roughly antipodal rarities to cause such a commotion!
